Clive Jones - For a Fair Deal for Wokingham

Fighting to fix our local NHS: - Clive Jones has made safeguarding our local NHS his top priority. It's personal for Clive because he relied on local health services when he was diagonsed with cancer 15 years ago.

Tackling the cost of living: As leader of Wokingham Borough he helped deliver real action to support those in need, providing free school meals during holidays, helping people directly with £150,000 in funding for those most at risk, and opening warm spaves through the winter.

Protecting our environment: Clive Jones is fighting to make sure water companies clean up our rivers.

Highest level of taxation since 1948

Under today’s Conservative government we have the highest level of taxation since 1948. Incredibly though, this was not acknowledged by the Conservatives in last weeks Autumn statement, who continued to claim that they are the party of low taxation.

Clive Jones will be a full time local MP who gets things done for Wokingham.

Clive and his wife have lived in the area for over 40 years. His children were born at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and attended local schools.

Clive spent a successful career in business, managing multi-million pound companies. Since being diagnosed with cancer in 2008 he has been involved in raising over £800,000 for charity. He is the compassionate, effective campaigner we need as our next MP.

He’s now fighting to get a fairer deal for our area as our parliamentary candidate. After years of Conservative failure and neglect he’s fixing the problems local people face.

It's Liberal Democrats or Conservatives in Wokingham

The Conservatives are taking our area for granted. They have broken their promise to deliver a new hospital for our area. People are struggling to see a GP or NHS dentist.

Wokingham needs a full-time MP to get a better deal for local residents. But John Redwood has a second job, earning £192,000 to work for a global investment firm rather than the people of Wokingham.

In the 2019 General Election, the Liberal Democrats were second in Wokingham, just 7,383 votes behind John Redwood. Only the Liberal Democrats can break the Conservatives hold on Wokingham.
