Clive Jones - For a Fair Deal for Wokingham

Clive and the Lib Dems are taking urgent action to tackle the cost of living and are providing free school meals for the children who need them.

Clive is fighting over-development in Wokingham. He is working to ensure local people have the final say, so we get houses that meet the needs of local residents.

Clive successfully campaigned for noise reduction barriers along the M4 through Winnersh and Earley.

Clive protected and increased bus services in Earley.

Clive and the Lib Dems fought for increased Government funding for local schools.

Changes to WBC Executive

Clive Jones, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Wokingham, and Sarah Kerr, Executive member for climate emergency and residents services, have attended their last meeting of the Wokingham Borough Council Executive.

30 Nov 2023

Clive Jones will be a full time local MP who gets things done for Wokingham.

Clive and his wife have lived in the area for over 40 years. His children were born at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and attended local schools.

Clive spent a successful career in business, managing multi-million pound companies. Since being diagnosed with cancer in 2008 he has been involved in raising over £800,000 for charity. He is the compassionate, effective campaigner we need as our next MP.

He’s now fighting to get a fairer deal for our area as our parliamentary candidate. After years of Conservative failure and neglect he’s fixing the problems local people face.

It's Liberal Democrats or Conservatives in Wokingham

The Conservatives are taking our area for granted. They have broken their promise to deliver a new hospital for our area. People are struggling to see a GP or NHS dentist.

Wokingham needs a full-time MP to get a better deal for local residents. But John Redwood has a second job, earning £192,000 to work for a global investment firm rather than the people of Wokingham.

In the 2019 General Election, the Liberal Democrats were second in Wokingham, just 7,383 votes behind John Redwood. Only the Liberal Democrats can break the Conservatives hold on Wokingham.
