Under today’s Conservative government we have the highest level of taxation since 1948. Incredibly though, this was not acknowledged by the Conservatives in last weeks Autumn statement, who continued to claim that they are the party of low taxation.
In Prime Minister’s Questions, Rishi Sunak dodged Ed Davey’s question about the status of the Government’s promise to build a new Royal Berkshire hospital which serves Reading, Wokingham and South Oxfordshire.
