A recent poll from YouGov shows the Liberal Democrats winning in Wokingham in the 2024 General Election.

A recent poll by YouGov predicts that Clive Jones, Parliamentary Candidate for Wokingham, will beat John Redwood at the General Election in 2024, becoming the first Liberal Democrat MP for the constituency.

The survey sampled 14,000 people, and used methodology which allowed the data to be used to predict general election results for the country and by constituency. The size of the poll, and the methodology used, allows more accurate predictions than
previously reported poll results.

Clive Jones said:
““This prediction reflects what we are hearing on the doorstep. People no longer trust this government and they want to see a change. Many residents who we have spoken to, trust me to work full time in Parliament to deliver a fair deal for Wokingham.
“Labour and Green supporters are determined to see an end to this government and are promising to lend me their votes.
“Whilst this prediction is encouraging, it’s vitally important that residents are registered to vote, and turn up on the day, or return their postal votes. That’s the only way we will see the change that our residents so deserve.”
