Make King Street Lane Safer

82% of respondents in a recent poll supported the removal of the redundant zebra crossing on King Street Lane. It is in the shadow of the M4 bridge, it is hard to see the people waiting to cross and there is a new signal-controlled crossing at the nearby relief road.  The problem is made worse by backed-up traffic queuing for the relief road lights.

Your ward councillor Rachelle Shepherd-DuBey, supported by councillors Prue Bray and Paul Fishwick, ask for your support and to sign our petition to make King Street Lane safer by removing the Zebra crossing, which is replaced by the signal-controlled pedestrian crossings at the relief road.
