Redwood should come clean on Expenses

12.00.00pm GMT Mon 1st Feb 2010

John Redwood should come clean on his expenses. Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Wokingham, Prue Bray, asks "Were John Redwood's expenses considered above board, was he asked for more information, or was he told to pay some money back? It is time that John Redwood revealed what was in the letter he got from Sir Thomas Legg about MPs expenses."

She says "All MPs got letters from Legg either clearing them over their expenses, asking for more information, or demanding they pay some of the money back. John Redwood has always refused to say what was in the letter he got. But from reports in the Telegraph over the weekend, it seems he has been asked to repay some of the money.

" It is time John Redwood came clean. He has been claiming over £20,000 a year for his living expenses, and the public has the right to know what has happened to that money. "
